Annabel Villar (Montevideo, Uruguay)

Poeta y activista cultural, reside en España. Co-fundadora del Liceo Poético de Benidorm. Directora de la Colección de Poesía “Azul” (Ed.Enkuadres) y del Festival Internacional de Poesía “Benidorm & Costa Blanca”. Miembro de la Academia Norteamericana de Literatura Moderna y de la Academia Estudiantil de Arte Contempóraneo de Río de Janeiro (Silla 6 “Gabriela Mistral”) 3er. premio del IV Certamen de Poesía “Traspasando Fronteras” de la Univ. de Almería, España, 2010. Gran Premio East-West de las Artes, Intl.Academy Orient-Occident, XVI Intl. Festival “Poetry Nights”, Curtea de Artes, Rumanía, 2012. Es autora de “Viaje al Sur del Sur” (Germanía, 2015) y “Cantar la vida” (Ayto. de Aspe, 2015)

SINOPSIS

No hay nada excepto la nada/el oxímoron del vacío/más lleno de silencio,

el pleonasmo redundante/del hueco más lleno de vida.

 

There is nothing except nothing/the oxymoron of the vacuum fuller of silence,

the redundant pleonasm/of the more alive hollow.

(…) Contemplación, sosiego/el instante perfecto,

que tal fruto/madura, inútil es para los otros,

condenando al poeta y su tarea/de ver en unidad el ser disperso,

el mundo fragmentario donde viven (…)

 

(...) Contemplation, calmness/the perfect moment,

that such fruit/ matures, is useless for others,

condemning the poet and its task/to see the dispersed being as a unit,

the fragmented world where they live (...)
